Convener, Kwara Tabloid, Mr Tunde Bakare, has extolled the visionary trait of the aspirant for the seat of Member, Federal House of Representatives, Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Mallam Muktar Tolani Shagaya.
In his remarks, Mr Bakare said, “I was really fascinated by the array of prospetive undergraduates Muktar Shagaya brought together to dash JAMB forms early this year, I must confess. Being a while since I saw a group of secondary school students who could speak so much English with such relative eloquence and make so much sense. My hope in our public school system has been rekindled. Should we just hand the glory to Ramoni? Did he also do that in 3 years?
I dont know where he (Muktar) got them from. But I think they were selected without recourse to political considerations. I wish I can do more. I wish it is in my power to do ‘mi fun e’ — I give you. I would have done it for him, for Sheriff, for the siblings. They have really done great stuff for our folks. When there was no politics in the offing, they were there for us.
If the young man threw it open, political heads will nominate kids of cronies. “Otan niyen”. He didnt. Those guys and babes, 200 in the first batch, will all pass JAMB. I assure you. I passed JAMB in the past and I didn’t know book like them. In his (Muktar) speech that day, he nade two salient points that I took home. 1. Put God first 2. Never look down on anybody. Fantastic points!
Plus that guy thinks straight. I like people who are able to marshall their points with little efforts”. Mr. Bakare added.
Meanwhile, another beneficiary of SHAGAYA aSolar recently disclosed her heartfelt appreciation towards the kind gesture received from Mallam Muktar Tolani Shagaya. Mrs Fatimat Abdullah said, “I want to appreciate Mallam Muktar SHAGAYA for the installation of solar in my premises. It has been a blessing for me. We have no power supply since four days ago and no fuel for genarator but we have been using the solar lights, fan and all other appliances in my home. My God will give you comfort. Good things will locate you”.
