The last century—just the last decade, even—has seen astonishing leaps forward in science and technology, as we’ve gained a better understanding of our world and how it functions. But while science has the answers for questions our ancestors would never have believed we’d figure out, there remain many huge questions that have yet to get fully satisfying answers.
These range from the philosophical to the practical, from total mysteries to questions we’ve come close to answering but are not quite there. Read on to discover what they are.
Here is a philosophical writing from Michael…
I was told; there are three types of currency.
Time
Knowledge
Money
Most times, human are required to trade at least two types of currency in a bid to get one. When it seems we have some in abundance, we would sacrifice them to get the one we desire.
Often time, the value of the above mentioned currencies varies from individuals, this value is inversely proportional to the amount in your possession. The more money you have, the less value you place on cash. The more knowledge you have, the less respect you have for common sense.
As a young man who seems to have all the time in the world, we use our time and the resources of our parents to see knowledge. When we grow, we sell our time and our knowledge to get cash. When we age, we use our knowledge or that of others, with all the cash we have to elongate our time on earth.
This vicious cycle begs me to wonder, what does human really want?
