It is not necessarily by the might of power, not even by the status, it is the sense of responsibility: the more we are responsible for the life we live, the happier, healthier and fulfilling life we would all live. Most diseases are not accidental, it is often as a result of our actions and inactions that predisposed us to them.
Like many other diseases that are caused as a result of human’s recklessness and negligence, HIV/AID is one of the most life threatening and devastating human contracted diseases. It has sent many lives to journey of return and yet, the figures are still counting, infact the recent significant figures showed that it is the leading cause of death globally according to WHO. See
Being able is not an indicator to being less vulnerable, beyond the rave of moment (sexual activities) many things lie underneath. Moreover, non of the stages of human development should be toyed with, not even the youthful age that could be very tricky, yet the most sensitive one. Let not youthful exurberance drives you to youthful destruction.
It is so sad that despite our awareness with the merciless consequences of the preventable disease, our recklessness could not save us from its warning light. The recent unabated development of sexual immoralities in our affairs are uncalled for, neither aged nor younger folks are exempted from it. No wonder why the rate of infection keep gaining strength in geometrical shape.
Human Immune Deficience Virus is not an accidental infection unlike other infections that are acquired through insect bite, airborne, hugging, skin to skin contact, sharing bed and even toilet together; but it is an infection caused by object abuse and sexual immoralities (having multiple sexual partners) — the most common causes of HIV infection.
The disease is life threatening because when one is exposed to Human Immune Virus from an infected person, it instantly replicate itself in the body- the unique feature of viral organism- a strategic way that viruses use to overwhelm the body defense. Once the body defense is being overwhelmed, the body is defenseless and begin to present clinical symptoms like fever, rashes, sore throat, general pains and many more.
While AIDS — Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome — occurs as a result of the chronic progression of HIV infection in an infected person. In this condition, HIV is just the fundamental disease that render the body to be vulnerable to the other diseases, that on norms do not elicit infection. In essence, untreated HIV turns to AIDS making the treatment of infections unresolved puzzle.

However, either HIV or AIDS, non should ever be toyed with. They are both detrimental and have great devastating effect on humanity. There is a thin line between being alive and being dead if one is contacted with the infection. Infact, the life expectancy is minimal either being treated or not but the truth is that avoiding this disease put one at vantage to live healthier and longer.
To the infected persons, isolation and depression can never solve it but can even worsen the condition. Early treatment is very pertinent once the infection is being detected. Avoid sexual activities and motherly responsibilities (breastfeeding), as well, ensure you take your drugs as instructed by your doctors.
While to others, show them love and give them sense of belonging. Abstain from unprotected sex and multiple sexual partners. Never use unsterilized sharp objects. Life is sweet but not in the present of disease, anxiety and discomfort.
