Humility. Submission. Perseverance. Faith. Trust. Good upbringing. Peace of mind. Enduring joy. Sustainable economic growth and development. Security. Productivity. Togetherness. Transparency. Equity and Equality. Accountability. Standard education. Adequate health care. Love.
These are some of the qualities and lessons that are embedded in the events surrounding celebration of national independence day. May we be blessed with them all and may our generations to come benefit from such qualities and events.
Today, we should have reasons to celebrate Nigeria’s 61st independence day: as it is important to not undermine our common threats, it is also pertinently right we count our blessings as we look forward to a brighter future.
We need to reaffirm our hope. We need to place priority on what matters.
Today marks Nigeria’s 61st Independence Day and I thought I would send a message of hope to all Nigerians wherever they are in the world. I’m not sure if the message will get to them all but I didn’t want the day like this to just pass without a note. I am a Nigerian, I know how it feels to be a Nigerian, I know the pain, the struggle and all kind of hardships any Nigerian go through because I am one of them.
However, there is a lot of potential waiting for support to glow and grow, we only need to believe in ONE NATIONALITY. We have all it is to become a nation of command to all nations of the world. We need right minds to be put in the strategic positions in driving the vehicle of fortune of this country. We need love!
Dear citizens of Naija,
Choose love. We are all pilgrims on this Earth; let us protect one another as humans. Together we can change the ugly narrative of this country. Imagine what the world will be like if we all choose to love.
